WESCO Benefits from GTEC Prado Distribution

Wesley College of Education has received a Toyota Prado vehicle as part of a nationwide initiative to strengthen operational efficiency and administrative leadership across Colleges of Education in Ghana.

The College was among twenty (20) Colleges of Education that benefited from the allocation of Toyota Prado vehicles at a handing-over ceremony held at the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) on Friday, 19th December 2025.

The ceremony formed part of national efforts to enhance leadership, supervision, and overall operational effectiveness within Colleges of Education across the country.

Present at the ceremony were the Director-General of GTEC, Prof. Ahmed Jinapor; Rt. Rev. Dr. Ollennu, representing the Council Chairman, the Most Rev. Prof. J. Kwabena Asamoah-Gyedu, who is also the Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church Ghana; and Dr. Kennedy Ameyaw Baah, Principal of Wesley College of Education.

On behalf of the Governing Council of Wesley College of Education, the Principal expressed profound appreciation to the Government of Ghana, GETFund, and GTEC for the timely and invaluable support. The provision of the vehicles is expected to significantly enhance administrative effectiveness and support the smooth running of academic and institutional activities in the Colleges of Education.
