- OFFER OF ADMISSION
We refer to your application for admission to Wesley College of Education and are pleased to inform you that you have been offered admission to pursue the 4-year BACHELOR OF EDUCATION (JHS/PRIMARY EDUCATION) Programme beginning in the 2026/2027 Academic Year.
This offer of admission is valid for the 2026/2027 Academic Year only and cannot be deferred. If you fail to enrol within the specified period, your admission will automatically lapse. Should you wish to be considered for admission in a subsequent year, you will be required to complete and submit a fresh application.
- VERIFICATION OF QUALIFICATIONS
Your admission is based on the results and certificates you presented with your application. These credentials will be verified by the College.
The College reserves the right to withdraw this offer of admission if it is subsequently established that you do not possess the qualifications on the basis of which the admission was granted. You will also be held personally liable for any false statement, misrepresentation or omission made in your application.
- ACCEPTANCE OF ADMISSION AND CHANGE OF PROGRAMME
Payment of the required fees constitutes acceptance of the programme offered to you by the College. You are therefore advised to carefully check and confirm the programme stated in this admission letter before making payment.
Please note that requests for a change of programme will not be entertained after payment has been made.
- PROBATION AND CONDUCT
You will be on probation throughout the duration of your programme. Your continued enrolment will be subject to satisfactory academic performance and good conduct.
You will be required to comply with all College policies, rules, and regulations, including those contained in the Students’ Handbook, which will be made available to you during orientation.
- MEDICAL EXAMINATION
You will be required to undergo a COMPULSORY medical examination to be organized by the College shortly after re-opening to determine your medical fitness to pursue the programme of study.
- REPORTING DATE
The College will reopen on Monday, 12th October 2026, and you are expected to report on that date.
- FEES AND PAYMENT
- Academic Fees
The total provisional fees for the 2026/2027 Academic Year which covers academic and other related fees is Five Thousand, Three Hundred and Seventy-Eight Ghana Cedis, Eighty Pesewas (GH¢5,378.80).
Under the Government’s NO FEES STRESS POLICY, an amount of Three Thousand, Four Hundred and Forty-Four Ghana Cedis, Thirty-Nine Pesewas (GH¢3,444.39) has been absorbed.
The balance payable by you is therefore:
One Thousand, Nine Hundred and Thirty-Four Ghana Cedis, Forty-One Pesewas (GH¢1,934.41).
This amount is NON-REFUNDABLE and must be paid on or before Thursday, October 08, 2026.
- College Levies
In addition to the academic fees above, you are required to pay SRC Water Project Levy of Two-hundred Ghana Cedis (GH¢ 200)
- Accommodation
You are to take NOTE THAT THE FEES DO NOT INCLUDE Student Accommodation Fees. You will be required to pay a Residential Fee of One Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢1,000.00) for this academic year. Please note that, in line with colleges of education policy, residential accommodation on campus is compulsory for all first-year students.

- Payment Identification
For all payments made at the bank, you must use your Admission Number (beginning with 26) as your Student ID Number, together with your full name.
Payments made without the correct Admission Number and full name may not be recognized or credited to your account.
- DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED ON REOPENING
You are required to submit the following documents to the College on the day of reopening:
- Two (2) photocopies of your admission letter.
- Two (2) photocopies of your Application for Admission Print Confirmation Slip containing your Application Form Number.
- Two (2) photocopies of your SSSCE/WASSCE results slip(s).
- Your ECOWAS Identity Card (Ghana Card).
- An active NHIS Card.
- Two (2) photocopies of your Birth Certificate
- Two (2) passport size photographs
9. CHANGE OF NAME
Please note that no change of name will be accepted during or after your period of study at the College.
- MATRICULATION
All fresh students will be matriculated shortly after the College reopens. Your admission will be withdrawn if you fail to participate in the matriculation ceremony.
- COURSE REGISTRATION AND EXAMINATIONS
You are required to register for your courses at the beginning of each semester throughout the duration of your programme. Registration is a prerequisite for attendance to lectures in your programme of study as well as participation in all examinations.
